Tom Kerridge has been a massive hit since appearing on TV shows like the Great British Menu, and finally this year he got his own show, Tom Kerridge's Proper Pub Food which coincided with the release of his massively popular recipe book of the same name.

Tom Kerridge will be returning to our screens for a second time this year with his very own Christmas recipes done in the proper pub food style.

Food & Drink Christmas Special 2013

Food & Drink makes a return to our screens as part of the BBC's Christmas TV schedule. Everyone's favourite baker, Mary Berry will be a guest along with Michelin starred chef Glynn Purnell. Hosted by legendary chef Michel Roux Jnr and renowned drinks expert Kate Goodman, you will be treated to some amazing Christmas recipes including Glynn Purnell's roast goose with festive stuffing, some super easy canapes to get your Christmas party going, an amazing sausage roll and a quick, easy chocolate torte recipe that is certain to put a smile on everyone's faces.

Masterchef: The Professionals is coming back to our screens on Monday 4 November 2013 and with it comes 24 episodes of recipe hits and misses. The format remains the same in the sixth season of the hit TV show, with Monica Galetti and Gregg Wallace taking the helm and putting the 8 contestants through their paces.

You can expect some big egos and flamboyant styles from the outset this year, with the invention test producing some interesting and sometimes positive signs of quality from chefs located around the UK.

The second day of Masterchef: The Professionals brings a whole host of new challenges for the contestants. Saturday Kitchen hosts two Michelin starred chefs on Saturday when James Martin talks food, recipes and more with Pascal Aussignac and Glynn Purnell. James Martin's star guest is MyAnna Buring who has to face their food heaven or food hell, either way, James is bound to produce a tasty recipe. Also featuring on Saturday Kitchen this week are Rick Stein and clips from The Great British Menu.  Wine tasting expert this week is Susie Barrie.

Paul will show us how to cultivate the natural yeasts needed for a great sourdough in a great starter recipe. Sourdough isn’t just for savoury recipes and Paul gives us a useful lesson in creating a sweet sourdough recipe in his white chocolate and raspberry sourdough recipe. Raspberries and white chocolate are a great combination and the sourdough adds an extra dimension to the recipe.
